"Un-Announcer" Yourself MasterClass

A 3.5 hour intensive voice-over workshop with Coach Ed Renninger

This isn’t your average VO training. We’ll strip away performance habits that no longer serve you and replace them with techniques that foster ease, presence, and genuine self-direction. This class is for intermediate-to-advanced voiceover artists looking to reclaim their natural tone, own the room (or the booth), and express with unapologetic clarity. Think less polish, more presence.

During this 3.5 hour masterclass, voice-actors will learn to deepen their craft and embrace a more grounded, specific, and emotionally connected approach to performance. You’ll work closely with career actor/producer and Meisner-trained VO director, Ed Renninger and leading Voice and Speech Specialist, D’Arcy Webb to explore new sides of your acting range, elevate your scene analysis, and connect with like-minded artists doing the work.

We’ll tackle vocal technique, emotional truth, improvisation, and script interpretation across genres. This is not about being impressive—it’s about being real. Many past participants in this workshop share that they now experience a sense of joy and childlike playfulness in their auditioning process.

This class will be taking place on Saturday, August 23rd from 12:00p - 3:30p ET.

  • Ed's class is truly an enlightening experience! He takes what you are, who you are and where you've been--- your life experience--- and shakes it out, infuses it into your voice. Ed focuses on the "you" of each read, each audition, each job. Because that unique "you-ness" that is what we each have that no one else does. Ed is also such a positive force in the room. I got out of the class confident in a totally new way.

  • I took Ed Renninger’s Voice Over Masterclass over the weekend, and it was genuinely so worthwhile. Ed has a gift for creating a relaxed, judgment-free space that encourages you to bring your true self into the booth. He shared a bunch of helpful tips and tricks that got me out of my head and into a more authentic, confident read. It honestly made a big difference—my reads felt more natural, a lot more interesting, and way more me. If you’re looking to level up your VO game or just want to feel more confident at self-directing, I definitely recommend it.
