Also learn how to find books that have not been produced in audio yet, along with successful strategies for approaching authors with your unique service. We will custom tailor a marketing plan to your narration style and the genres you want to get work in.

  Audiobook Business Q&A Teleconference with Coach and Expert, Jeffrey Kafer

  This group session focuses on questions that may not have come up in the marketing session, or in your individual technique sessions. Such topics may include: SAG-AFTRA qualifications, marketing, relationship building with publishers & producers, portfolio building (finding the right titles), booking work on ACX, negotiating rates, networking directly with authors, navigating audiobook industry events, and more!

  Three One-Hour Home Studio Advisory Sessions

  Once you’ve gotten your home studio equipment up and running you need to be absolutely sure that your authors are receiving the kind of quality that they expect. These one-on-one sessions allow you the support that you need in order to become proficient and self-sufficient as a professional audiobook narrator. We’ll teach you how to set-up your studio, record your own narrations using punch and roll, and edit your work to a professional standard. Home studio recording and punch and roll skills are especially important when recording audiobooks, as more advanced techniques are required beyond the typical commercial and narration work. For that reason, our home studio instructors are at your service for a full three hours of private coaching.
